This is called "tunnelling". If you extinguish your candle before it forms a full melt pool (where the melted wax reaches the sides of the container), you risk creating a memory pool. The candle will then remember where it last burned and only reach that point. While it's important not to burn candles for more than four hours at a time, insufficient burning time may lead to "tunneling", impacting the candle's efficiency and lifespan.

We recommend using 1-2 blocks, depending on the size of your warmer (each of our wax melts come in 6 blocks per package). How long each block will last will depend on a few factors: how long you keep your warmer on each day, how big the room is, how strong you prefer the scent, and how hot your warmer operates.
